About Celeste Wright Harris

Celeste Wright Harris is Chief Human Resources Officer and head of the Human Resources Division for Loop Capital. Loop Capital is a full-service investment bank, brokerage and advisory firm that provides creative capital solutions for corporate, governmental and institutional entities across the globe. Ms. Wright Harris joined the firm in 2009 with over 20 years of experience as a human resources business partner and strategist. Her experience has spanned government and corporate sectors, with special emphasis in recruitment, strategic visioning, organizational change, process and quality improvement. She has built her career on establishing organizational cultures of excellence. 

Ms. Wright Harris’s career began as a Corporate Recruiter for Executive Search Inc. managing brokerage, insurance and banking clients, where she consistently earned the status of top producer and later managed the firm’s corporate headquarters. She also worked as the Director of Recruiting and Special Projects for the City of Chicago, where she directed the internship recruitment program that saved the city over $2 million in labor costs, employing hundreds of students while providing real world experiences. Ms. Wright Harris holds a Master’s Degree in Strategic Communication & Leadership and a Bachelor’s Degree in Management, both from Seton Hall University. Celeste is committed to serving the community and previously served on the Board of Family Focus Lawndale, is currently a member of the Society of Human Resources Management and Financial Services Pipeline Initiative. In addition, Ms. Wright Harris overseas the firms Student Internship Program designed to increase the number of underrepresented individuals in the financial services industry. Serving as former President and Charter member of an organization designed to amongst other things support the community through partnerships, such as the Boys and Girls Club, March of Dimes, Feed My Staving Children, Pacific Garden Mission, and Share your Soles.
