Maya Hightower is a highly sought-after leader in community relations and corporate social responsibility. Currently serving as community relations director with Witherite Law Group, Maya leads community outreach and corporate giving across three major metropolitan cities including Dallas, Atlanta and Chicago. In this role, she works directly with schools and nonprofit organizations to identify and fund needs that will better the communities Witherite Law Group serves, particularly those focused on education, food insecurity and opportunities for women and kids in underserved communities.

Prior to joining Witherite Law Group, Maya held esteemed positions in marketing and public relations for national companies including Reach Media and T.D. Jakes Ministries.

Maya earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in marketing communications from Columbia College Chicago and a master’s degree in communications from Dallas Baptist University.

Maya has won numerous awards for her work including Rolling Out’s Sisters with Superpowers Award, two Salute to Excellence Awards from National Association of Black Journalists, two Hermes Creative Awards and five MarCom Awards.

When Maya is not serving the community, you can find her traveling the world, competing and winning numerous body-building competitions, or spending time with her two sons.
