Katie started her career in the financial services industry as broker support on an institutional trading desk, later driving her own book of business as a broker. As the financial landscape continuously changed and the economy evolved so has her role in the financial industry. When competitors failed and regulators have made drastic changes, she shifted from the direct client facing side into operations of the industry.
Katie currently serves as the North America Head of Exchange Traded Derivatives (ETD) at the Northern Trust Company where she is responsible for the operational and lifecycle management to asset managers and corporate and institutional clients.
Prior to moving into her current role, she leveraged her tenure in different facets of the futures industry by serving as a Client Services Manager. Leading and running the day-to-day middle office responsibilities for large investment clients across multiple asset management platforms. She oversaw the institutional client service function with dotted lines reporting to fund managers and client directors.
Katie continues to facilitate internal and external relationships all while managing in the daily operations of the derivatives practice. She partners with her team, executive management, investment managers, and her direct client relationships to help deliver exceptional client service and performance.
Katie is a key contributor to various cause related Institutions. She serves as a member of the Career Management Center Advisory Board at Illinois Institute of Technology’s Stuart School of Business and is an Executive Board Member of AAIM (Alliance Against Intoxicated Motorists).
When not influencing here partners, teams, and community you can often find Katie with her family or participating in endurance events. She is an avid runner and triathlete.
