Jasmine Minor

Jasmine Minor is a 3x Emmy Award-winning journalist at ABC 7 Chicago and a dynamic force in modern storytelling. Beyond the newsroom, she is the CEO of RISE Productions, the company behind The RISE Society—an event series designed to bridge girls in sports with women in business, raising capital for the USTA Kevin Minor Legacy Fund and driving a long-term vision to build a global women’s sports empowerment fund.

A former Division I tennis player, Jasmine is part of the first and only family in history to have three Black women compete at the Division I level.

She earned her master’s degree in broadcast journalism from Northwestern University’s Medill School, graduating first in her class, and was selected for the prestigious Pew Research Center Fellowship in Washington, D.C. Her work has earned national recognition, including a 2025 Edward R. Murrow Regional Award for her coverage of Black History and Heritage in Chicago.
