Sabina is Senior Vice President, Business and Technology Services and Chief Information Officer at Abbott. In this role she provides executive leadership on technology strategy, policy, and capabilities across the Abbott enterprise.
Prior to joining Abbott in 2020, Sabina served as the Global Head, Business Technology for Pfizer Upjohn, headquartered in Shanghai, China. Before that, she held several IT-leadership roles at Pfizer, including Vice President for Corporate Functions & Business Services Business Technology (BT) and Vice President of Specialty Care, Vaccines, & Oncology BT.
Sabina is a recipient of several recognitions including the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association Luminary Award, PharmaVoice Top 100 Most Inspiring Leaders in Life Sciences Award, Women Economic Forum Iconic Leader Creating a Better World for All Award winner, a PhillyCIO ORBIE winner for CIO of the Year in the Global CIO category, a ChicagoCIO ORBIE winner for CIO of the Year in the Super Global CIO category, the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC) inaugural CIO of the Year award, and Bench International & Deloitte inaugural Life Sciences Tech Innovation Award.
Sabina earned her Bachelor of Science in commerce with concentrations in management information systems and finance from the University of Virginia, Charlottesville, Virginia, and her Master of Science in management and systems from New York University, New York, New York.
