The Girls Inc. Teen Advocacy Council (TAC) empowers middle and high school girls with the leadership, public speaking, problem solving, relationship building, and critical thinking skills they need to influence positive change in their schools and communities.
A youth-led leadership group, the TAC focuses on engaging decision makers and building awareness to issues impacting girls and women. Guided by trained staff and issue experts, the TAC works to:
Amplify the voices of youth committed to achieving systemic change in their neighborhoods.
Identify challenges girls face in their schools and communities.
Learn from and collaborate with existing issue experts and changemakers.
Plan and implement awareness projects.
Participate in efforts across the Girls Inc. Network to promote change.
